Intrust Bank Arena

Opened in early 2010, Intrust Bank Arena is located in downtown Wichita, set in southeastern Kansas. Kansas’ second largest indoor arena, this multipurpose arena features more than 15,000 seats – plus 300 premium seats, 22 suites, and 40 loge boxes. Intrust Bank Arena also offers 16 concession stands, 12 ticket windows, and over 4,000 parking spots.

Intrust Bank Arena is the current home the Central Hockey League’s Wichita Thunder, and hosts everything from rodeos and basketball to major concerts and professional wrestling events.

Wichita Mid-Continent Airport

The busiest airport in the state, the Wichita Mid-Continent Airport (ICT) serves the city of Wichita, as well as surrounding areas in southern Kansas. Wichita State University

Southern Kansas is home to one of the three research universities in the state. Wichita State University joins Kansas State University and University of Kansas, with this distinction.
